Artist Biography

Trudi Treble is a photographer based in London. Her interests involve fashion, art, documentary and music, and she aims to combine the four elements in a unique and innovating way in her work, particularly centring around the human form. Over the last two years she has regularly worked with photographers Josh Robenstone, Ted Min and Justin Ridler has their assistants, developing an intimate working relationship.Trudi completed her Bachelor in Photography co-jointly at RMIT and the University of Westminster in 2020.

2022-Current

DARK ROOM ASSISTANT: Assistant to master hand printer Sarah England. Duties include: preparing prints for digital output, helping to expose and develop hand prints , maintenance of chemicals and darkroom equipment

2022 - Current

BIG SKY ASSISTANT: working on a regular freelance basis to help the studio maintain a strict standard of professionalism and help clients create beautiful imagery within the studio.

2018 - Current

PHOTOGRAPHY ASSISTANT & DIGITAL OPERATOR: working on a regular basis with a variety of Melbourne and London based photographers (Justin Ridler, Jamie Heath, Richard Dowker, Benjamin Madgwick, etc) to create and realise their photographic goals. This included commercial, advertising, campaign and personal work. Duties included helping create photographic lighting set ups, inputing tethered files through capture one and maintenance of photographic equipment.

FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER: working with various clients and designers, creating e-commerce, editorial and promotional material

WOW PHOTOGRAPHIC STUDIOS JUNIOR PHOTOGRAPHER: working within the team to create e-commerce imagery, content and campaign images for the largest apparel groups in Australia (Just Group (Dotti, Portmans, JayJays, Endota Spa, etc). Responsibilities included lighting sets, working as photographer to create imagery for brands and helping to maintain the studio

IN HOUSE ECOMMERCE PHOTOGRAPHER SCARLET JONES: Responsible for the direction, creation and post production of the e-commerce imagery for the scarlet jones online store.

2019-2021

WOW PHOTOGRAPHIC STUDIO LIGHTING ASSISTANT & DIGITAL OPERATOR: working within the team to create e-commerce, content and campaign images for the largest apparel groups in Australia (Just Group (Dotti, Portmans, JayJays, Harris Scarf, Endota Spa, etc). Responsibilities included lighting sets, performaning as a digital operator, watching files come in and managing them, flagging any errors live, mainitng and looking after equipment and studio space.

2020-2021

PHOTOGRAPHIC RETOUCHER TINY DISCO: working as freelance retoucher for Tiny Disco to correct any real life or photographic blemishes and preparing images to a professional standard before they were sent to clients. Please ask for retouching portfolio

2021- 2021

STUDIO MANAGER: created and managed a small scale studio in Collingwood, Melbourne for low income photographers and designers. Was responsible for managing the space, keeping the place tidy, fully stocked and equipment in working order. As well as being responsible for the admin behind the studio, looking after invoices and bills, and maintaining the roster of use.
